Removing URLs from Search Results Using Webmaster Tools
Direct from the Google Webmaster Central blog, it is now easier to temporarily remove a page that you no longer want indexed within Google’s search results. Steps are shown here below:
Previously there was a requirement by Webmasters to block the unwanted page before it could be removed from search results – this has now been made obsolete.
It should be noted that after 1 90 day period the URL may be crawled again by the Googlebots and the page re-indexed.
